SBS lost a long-time friend and supporter earlier this month with the untimely death of Roman Borboa.
Roman joined SBS Swiss Business School in 2006. In addition to his role as full-time faculty, he was a member of the Research Advisory Board, an active mentor, and a regular member of thesis and dissertation defense panels. He was also a trusted adviser to SBS senior management and staff over the years.
Roman brought both deep theoretical knowledge and years of real-world professional experience in local, regional, national and multinational organizations to SBS. He was always a cut above just being a “teacher”. His distinctive positive personality and his excellent classroom presentation techniques aided in passing his theoretical and practical knowledge on to course participants at the bachelor, masters and doctor level.
Roman will be truly missed by his past and current students, his colleagues and his friends at SBS. Our thoughts also go out to his family in this time of grief.
